Cedar Fork is capped for the 2008-09 school year:
The Wake County Public School System Board of Education approved an enrollment cap for Cedar Fork for the 2008-09 school year. Our school will follow the capping procedures outlined in Board Policy 6204.
Effective May 1, 2008, Cedar Fork has been capped and is no longer able to admit new students for the 2008-09 school year. Cedar Fork will send "capped out" students to Weatherstone and Reedy Creek Elementary Schools depending on the node number of your address.
Initial registration MUST take place at Cedar Fork. Parents will then be directed to the capped out school to complete the registration process.
Once registration is complete, you may elect to be placed on our waiting list and will be called if or when an opening becomes available.
A parent will need to bring the following items with you when registering your child:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of residence
(Gas, water, electric bill or house/lease agreement.) - Parent driver's license
Summer registration hours: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM until 2 PM.
