Volunteer and Visitor Information:

In order to better organize volunteers and to improve student safety, Wake County Public Schools requires all volunteers to register at a Wake County School. There are computers available in the Media Center during the school day to allow volunteers to register. Voluteers will need to register every year. If you are planning on chaperoning during a field trip, you will need to register into the system at least three weeks before the trip. Please check with your child's teacher to determine which level of clearance you need before registering.

All parents and visitors MUST check in at the front office and obtain a visitor's badge before walking around the campus or entering classrooms. Anyone found in the building without a visitor's badge will be asked to return to the main office to recieve one. Please keep in mind that this is to ensure the safety of all students at Cedar Fork.

Visitors should expect to show proper picture identification when signing in or checking out their children. Please make sure your name and signature is complete on the back of your child's locator card. Children cannot be released to an adult NOT listed on the Locator card. Locator cards go home the first week of school and need to return to the main office immediately. Should an emergency arise, this is the first source we use to try to contact parents.
